Chinese Embassy Donated Food Supplies to the Bahamas Feeding Network

On October 29th, H.E.Ambassador HUANG Qinguo of the People's Republic of China donated food supplies valued 19,976 US dollars to the Bahamas Feeding Network (BFN) in support of its disaster relief efforts. Mrs. Patricia Minnis, spouse of the Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis, Prime Minister of The Bahamas, and Mr. Philip Smith, Executive Director of the BFN, attended a brief handover ceremony in Nassau.

Ambassador Huang said  Chinese government and people are very concerned about the lives of the people affected by the Hurricane Dorian and has made every effort to provide financial and material assistance to the Bahamas. The Chinese Embassy believed that the Bahamian government and people will overcome the temporary difficulties and help the people in the affected areas rebuild their homes as soon as possible.

Mrs. Minnis expressed her sincere gratitude to the Chinese government and people for the multiple batches of generous assistance provided to The Bahamas after hurricane Dorian.
