The Chinese Embassy in The Bahamas Holds 2018 National Day Reception

On 27 September 2018, H.E. Huang Qinguo, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, and his wife Madame Zheng Chuncao held a reception celebrating the 69th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The Honourable Peter Turnquest, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Honourable Brent Symonette, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Financial Services, trade and Industry and Immigration, the Honourable Marvin Dames, Minister of National Security, the Honourable Philip Davis, Leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition, Sir Arthur Foulkes, Former Governors-General of The Bahamas, together with over 200 diplomats, local Chinese, employees of Chinese enterprises, and other Bahamian friends attended the reception.
