Ambassador Huang Qinguo made a presentation for young Bahamian diplomats

On 2 May 2017, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration of The Bahamas, Ambassador H.E. Huang Qinguo made a presentation entitled "China's Development and Foreign Policy" for the new Foreign Service officers in Bahamas Foreign Service Institute Induction Training Programme.

Ambassador Huang introduced China' basic national conditions, achievements China has made since the reform and opening up, challenges and bright prospect in future development with eye-catching pictures and convincing data and facts. Ambassador Huang also introduced China's foreign policies, in particular China's Policy Paper on Latin America and the Caribbean, showing that China will unswervingly follow the path of peaceful development, pursue the win-win strategy of opening up and continue to be a reliable friend and sincere partner of developing countries. Ambassador Huang highly appraised the great achievements being made in political, economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.

After the presentation, Ambassador Huang interacted with Bahamian young diplomats about bilateral trade, investment cooperation, cultural exchanges and Chinese teaching in The Bahamas.
